In the XLR version connecting surfaces are silver-plated and protected in the passivation process. Moreover, Europa received the antistatic coupler made of POM-C AP50 from Acoustic Points, which protects the surface of the cable from micro electrostatic charges. The coupler is mounted with a non-magnetic screw. The conducting base for both versions is eight OFC copper wires (6N purity). To provide full protection against external influences, Europa is screened with Aluminium foil (100%) and silver plated braid (90%).
