The title is full of puns: the artist draws i.e. sketches across the ochre colour; he also draws – i.e. traverses across the ochre fields. But the sky is blue; it is high summer; the leaves literally shimmer, and you seemingly travel, up and down dale, to the very top of the world in this print.
